Reserved Seats

The admissions against the reserved seats will be done according to the Punjab Govt. notification for reservation. The percentage of reservation is as following for different categories :

For S.C. / S.T. 25%
For B.C. 5%
For Sports Person 2%
For wards of teachers/employees of Education Department 2%
For the wards of freedom fighters/officers/employees of Armed Forces/ C.R.P /B.S.F of those who are retired or are now dead. 2%

For Handicapped students

1. Blind and weak eyesight -- 1%
2. Deaf and Dumb -- 1%
3. Physically Handicapped -- 1 %



According to the letter no. 1064-1136 dated 17-07-2001 of Punjabi University, the student who participated in University Youth Festival will get admission on additional seats according to the rules and on the recommendation of the committee formed by the Principal.

The reservation of the students who participated in the cultural activities will be allowed according to the letter no. 8/12/2/4 7066 dated 26-03-2003 of Punjab Govt.

Only those student will get admission in sports quota who has participated in sports at state/university level by representing their district/college.
